Installation of the system to your vehicle can be EASILY done by any good mechanic, or by yourself. Mechanics will have no problem installing the unit and respond well once they see the installation instructions. Installation depends very much on your vehicle type and the hourly rate of your mechanic. However we can estimate your installation cost between $200 and up to $300
Your mechanic will see how simple it is to install, and in most cases will quote you for about one hour of labor.
There is always some place a system can be installed.
Our Hydrogen generator is the smallest on the market, about the size of a motorcycle battery. Sometimes it takes a bit of creativity to find a location, but it will be worth it in the long run!
Yes... The Hydrogen on Demand System is designed to operate in all weather conditions, and has a very low freezing point.
It's because we manufacture and produce all of our own generators and products.
Because of our large volume of units that we produce it allows us to buy our materials in very large quantities to get the very best deal and streamline our production and pass the savings on to you. All of our units are in stock and ship the same day. It would make no sense for us to have the best product out there if it were so expensive that the average consumer could not afford it
Will This Void my Warrenty on my Vehicle?
The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act
By now I'm sure running your vehicle using Hydrogen gas has peaked your interest, but you probably have a million questions you would like answered before you go any further.
Conditions which may void a manufacturer's warranty are specified in the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act which stipulates that a dealer cannot void a warranty due to aftermarket parts. What's more is that the dealer must prove the aftermarket part precipitated the failure. Any modification can void a manufacturer's warranty; the DoFreedomFuel Systems are not modifications and the dealer still must prove their installation caused the failure.
The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act protects consumers with respect to installing after-market components onto one's vehicle(s) and warranty rights. Not only does it apply to vehicles, but it also establishes some guidelines, provides definitions and establishes a framework from which the consumer can seek remedies from a manufacturer with respect to warranties in general among other things related to warranties.
This act, effective July 4, 1975, is designed to "improve the adequacy of information available to consumers, prevent deception, and improve competition in the marketing of consumer products . . .." The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act applies only to consumer products, which are defined as "any tangible personal property which is distributed in commerce and which is normally used for personal, family, or household purposes (including any such property intended to be attached to or installed in any real property without regard to whether it is so attached or installed)." Under Section 2303 of the Act, if a warrantor sells a consumer product costing more than $10 under written warranty, the writing must state the warranty in readily understandable language as determined by standards set forth by the Federal Trade Commission. There is, however, no requirement that a warranty be given nor that any product be warranted for any length of time. Thus the Act only requires that when there is a written warranty, the warrantor clearly discloses the nature of his warranty obligation prior to the sale of the product. The consumer may then compare warranty protection. To further protect the consumer from deception, the Act requires that any written warranty must be labeled as either a "full" or a "limited" warranty. Only warranties that meet the standards of the Act may be labeled as "full." One of the most important provisions of the Act prohibits a warrantor from refuting or modifying any implied warranty whenever any written warranty is given or service contract entered into.
This means that, under the provisions of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975, an automotive dealership/carmaker cannot void your warranty because your vehicle has been modified with after-market parts. They (the manufacturers) have to prove that the failure was the direct result of the installed after-market part. Unfortunately, too many folks have gone to a dealer to have warranty service performed on their modified vehicle only to have the dealer refuse to cover the defective items. The dealer usually states, that because of the after-market parts installed, the warranty is void (without even attempting to determine whether or not the after-market part caused the problem). This is illegal...period.
In any one of these scenarios, if the dealer just lifted the hood, saw the modifications, and stated that the warranty was void based on what they saw (without verifying that the failure was due to the after-market installation), the dealer would be in violation of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975. The cause of the failure must be searched out and proven in order for the carmaker to void a warranty.
Since the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975 does NOT apply to commercial vehicles, we advise our potential fleet operators to consult with their legal counsels with respect to the effect it may have in their particular situation. Additionally we highly recommend to our potential commercial customers to also conduct a risk analysis study with respect to the benefits derived vs. the risk of voiding a warranty.
In that regard, some additional things to consider are as follows:
• The age of your fleet and exactly how many or what percentage are under warranty
• Check with the dealer and/or manufacturer to find out what your warranty stipulates
• With respect to the DoFreedomFuel Units, the unit is operating independently of your engine; drawing only electricity from the vehicle's battery and/or alternator which is no more than what a standard radio or even less than that
of the vehicle's air conditioning unit requires to operate. Additionally, the DoFreedomFuel Unit provides a concentrate amount of Hydrogen and Oxygen gas through the air intake system which is burned completely within the engine's combustion chamber. These gases are the same gases normally found in our atmosphere and is currently being supplied by the air intake to the engine; but at a higher concentration level similar to putting different octane fuel or higher cetane additives into the vehicle.

6 Is using Hydrogen Technology Dangerous?
7 Does your product work on a Diesel Engine?
YES! diesels LOVE Hydrogen!
On the average, diesel vehicles get around 50% better mileage. In our opinion, diesel installation is much simpler as well since you don't have exhaust o2 sensors to worry about! You will get specific diagrams and instructions when you order your Hydrogen System. Our system will work with any type of fuel or delivery system, even on an old carburetor engine.
It CAN be Very dangerous… If you do stupid things!
Just like anything else, there are safety rules that you want to follow, and they are quite simple. For instance we all know that the radiator is essential in cooling down the engine, and without it the car will go up in smoke. However, if you open the radiator cap when hot, you could get hurt, isn't that right? The danger is not in the radiator; the danger is in ignorance and carelessness and not following the safety rules.
Hydrogen-On-Demand means that we are not storing any Hydrogen! We're using all the Hydrogen that we're producing, immediately. There is no Hydrogen storage tank to explode in case of an accident. Hydrogen is also less flammable than gasoline. Gasoline can burst into flames at 442 degrees Fahrenheit, hydrogen won't ignite
until 1,022 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s far better for the environment, and perfectly safe for you and your passengers.
No! Conditions that may void a vehicle's warranty are specified in a federal law called "the Moss-Magnusson Act" which stipulates that dealers cannot void a warranty because vehicles have aftermarket parts. If a dealer could prove that a particular aftermarket part caused a particular failure, then they could disallow the claim for that issue only.
For example, if your engine were to fail, the dealer could not refuse to fix it because the vehiclear has aftermarket wheels. However, if your engine had been modified, then, they may have a case and may try to deny the claim. We don't modify engines in any way.
Our average increase is around 45% and some people enjoy up to 65%, depending on your vehicle and driving habits. This includes both city and highway driving conditions. Every situation is different, so this is an estimate only.
Will this rust my engine by using this technology?
NO, definitely not, You do not need to worry about your engine rusting or locking up from having hydrogen water vapor flowing through it. You might know this but you have water running through your engine now, in the cooling system, and in your exhaust from burning gasoline and natural condensation. You will however notice a quieter and much smoother engine operation and smoother gearshifts. This is due to the effect that water has on the combustion cycle inside your engine.
How often do I have to add water to the system?
Each vehicle is a little different, but on the average you should have to add about one cup of distilled water about every 1000 miles to keep the water tank topped off. When you top off the unit with distilled water you do not have to add additional electrolyte, just the distilled water only mix!
How long will the Electrolyte last ?
We include with your order about a 6 months supply of the Electrolyte. After the intial fill up of the system, you will only have to add about a teaspoon of Electrolyte every couple of weeks.
You can buy a year supply of Electrolyte for about $6.00 (It lasts a long time.)
Frequently Asked Questions
(continued)
You will notice a HUGE difference… Running Hydrogen gas through your engine is like running 140 octane fuel. Our Hydrogen Cell will help not only eliminate carbon deposits caused by unburned gasoline - but will actually
steam-clean your engine. Over the first couple of days you will notice that your engine will start to become smoother and quieter, then it will level off at a new level! The hydrogen vapor changes the combustion cycle into a more even or "round" cycle. This happens immediately upon installation, and from that moment on, your engine
will work in a new way. The effect is not only less noise, it's also less vibration, resulting in reduced strain on the transmission (thus smoother gear shifts), cleaner pistons and valves, and generally better engine operation. The Hydrogen vapor actually cools down the engine. You will start seeing, hearing and feeling the changes described above happening in your very own car or truck. We invite you to test our technology for yourself just like we have done, and just like 1000's of vehicle owners and fleet managers from around the world have done. You will be happy with the results! |
